- Turn Off and Cool Down the Oven
- Before beginning, make sure the oven is completely turned off and cooled down to avoid burns or accidents.
- Check Your Owner’s Manual
- Some ovens allow for easy disassembly of the door, while others require more effort. Refer to your owner’s manual to understand how to safely access the glass panels.
- Remove the Door (If Necessary)
- Open the oven door completely and locate the hinges. In many cases, you can unlock and gently lift the door off its hinges. Place it on a soft surface like a towel to prevent scratches.
- Disassemble the Door
- If your oven door has screws holding the glass in place, use a screwdriver to carefully remove them. Place the screws in a safe spot so they don’t get lost.
- Clean the Glass
- Mix a solution of warm water, dish soap, and a splash of vinegar. Dampen a microfiber cloth in the solution.
- For hard-to-reach areas, wrap the damp cloth around a wire hanger or long tool and secure it with rubber bands. Carefully insert the tool between the glass panels and wipe away the grime.
